32nd Bateman Battersby Law Bursary Winner
Juliette Ruming from St Paul’s Grammar is the winner of the 2021 Bateman Battersby Law Bursary.
Juliette completed the IB in 2021 achieving an ATAR of 99.75 and has been admitted to the University of New South Wales to study for a combined Bachelor of International Studies and Bachelor of Laws.
Our firm’s Law Bursary has now been running for 32 years ago and was instigated to encourage local high school students to undertake legal studies at a tertiary level. Many of the previous Bursary winners have gone on to achieve great success in practising law in a variety of fields, working in high level management positions in both the private and public sectors and teaching law at Universities both in Australia and overseas.
As the 32nd winner of the award, Juliette was presented with the Bateman Battersby Bursary trophy and a cheque for $1,000.00 to assist her in her initial year of legal study by firm partners John Bateman and Michael Battersby.
