The Bateman Battersby Medical Research Medal was first awarded in 2005. The Medal acknowledges the important work being undertaken by young medical researchers at the Nepean Clinical School in Nepean Hospital.
The Medal is awarded to the best emerging researcher at the Clinical School and is presented at the Annual Nepean Scientific Day held at the Nepean Campus of the University of Sydney Medical Faculty.
